It is said that little knowledge is perilous. A little learning is a dangerous thing; drink deep, or taste not the Pierian Spring: there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, and drinking largely sobers us again. If little knowledge is a dangerous thing, a lot might be lethal. Thus, it might be better not to investigate some flagitious and life-threatening facts for they say curiosity killed the cat. It is better not to know that some flaws are making the world worship science and convert to the religion of Business. It’s better not to know that the world’s turn-profit motor is rushing ,among overwhelming juxtapositions, through escapism approach.
Are the blames to be cast on the flawed or flawless Capitalist system? Is it the social inequality, the unfair distribution of fortune, the 1929 Wall Street crash or the 2008 financial crisis? A series of overwhelming questions show up.
Is it Sinclair Lewis’s 1920 satire of the religious void and the hypocrisy surrounding much of the social practice of it? Is it the worship of science when the best internationally advertised and quantitatively produced stuff enamours the human soul and when the modern and the up-to-date become a source of pleasure for the self and provide it with an existentially empty satisfaction? Is it the religion of business when "Benefit" becomes the motor of action so that being surrounded with the technologically modern objects provides the human soul with a sense of meaning and self-worth? Is it Babbitt’s regrettable bohemianism as an escape?
Is it Aphra Behn’s Marriage Mask fall in the light of Capitalism? When, regrettably, Marriage turns into an economic exchange Market under the mandates of the patriarchy. When, regrettably, women is either sold into the marriage market by her family in an effort to secure wealth and class status, or sells her own marketable wares to the highest bidder.

Is it Ali’s (Radiya Allaho 3anhou) asceticism in life?

يا دنيا إليك عني، غري غيري قد طلقتك ثلاثا لا رجعة لي عليك، فعمرك قصير، وخطرك حقير، وخطبك يسير، آه من قلة الزاد، وبعد السفر، ووحشة الطريق

Is it Al Quaida’s radical religious interpretations or America’s policy that kills civilian innocents, destroys the path of development and supports the clash of civilisation theory?

Is it the Yonkers of New York, the shantytowns of Buenos Aires, Cape Town or Casablanca?
It is America’s Iraqi war for oil, Israel’s repeated genocides in Palestine, Hiroshima’s atomic bomb or the world’s devastating nuclear arsenal?
Is it the new voracious creature with lions’ teeth and eagle’s claws laying ahead- the so-called Globalisation- the international economic war where the Law of the Jungle re-dominates and the economic survival is only for the strongest...?
